I could have SWORN this as well. I remember having this very conversation with my mom, though I think she came down firmly on the -stain side.
I took it as alluding to old Hollywood noirs. That's what it reminded me of at least.
Yeah, we were joking that it wasn't a planned part of the shoot, just some accidental footage from Colin's trailer.
I also took issue with how the drug affected her, but, weirdly, Hollywood rarely gets drug portrayals right.
Makes way more sense that it's the boss. However, there was Kitsch's line in like the first episode that was something like "working this side thing for a friend."
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the show's intentions, but I definitely took that scene, as well as the other characters' sexism and the homophobia mentioned below as means of showing the viewer the obstacles faced by the main characters.
I don't know if I agree, but I love the phrase "near-depth."
Pshaw! PREPOSTEROUS
Yeah, for me the biggest selling point is the talented, established actors who agreed to be a part of it. I also have enjoyed the trailers, but FF was never one of my comic book obsessions.

In Hollywood years, she's basically a corpse already.
I'd love to see a new Idris Elba, but not a "deeply serious drama about a young boy taken from his family and pressed into service as a child soldier."
Agreed. I fondly remember (most of) a couple evenings playing this and drinking some sort of weird Jack Daniels fruit drinks someone had left at my house.
Whaaaat is happening?
I don't own a Mini Cooper (Italian Job remake), but I'd like to.
Ah, thank you. That was the most I've giggled in several hours.
