Yeah, it was a little too ironic…don't ya think?

His debut was the first episode I saw and his character the reason I got into the show but, yes, he became totally insufferable.
They're ALL on Amazon Prime. Yet to indulge, but I'm sure one drunken night I'll feel like revisiting those mixed up Canadian teens.
I like this in the "Degrassi Explained" section:
"The series was created by Linda Schuyler, a former teacher and current owner of 55 cats. Stephen Stohn, her totally not actually gay hubbie, is the show runner."
I don't know if that's made more funny or less funny coming from Idi Amin.
I never really watched the show much, but I think classic coverage would offer a lot of opportunities, e.g. what makes the early version uniquely 80s, what makes it uniquely Canadian, what made it just plain unique at the time, etc.

Twenty-somethings hanging around their high school is a thing that happens?
I sure did hate that book.
@Snidely, I have trouble believing that any Prius owner eats Taco Bell…
Super cute.
Is that really a thing?
In semi-related news, that show "The Fall" that's on Netflix now is pretty damn good.
Ryan Gosling was also on an episode of Are you Afraid of the Dark, playing the dickish older brother. (In case any of you need to pursue further research.)
Huh?
