What kind of fucking monster forgets Benedict Cumberbatch

@avclub-8c1bbcea199457b63dc39f7a024591f1:disqus I think you raise the most important point. Comedy is not always painless, but it is a way of easing the more deeply-embedded, permanent pain.  As someone from this very site (the Onion, really) once said: "Humor is about one thing: life's nightmare hellscape of

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus Some not-totally-relevant thoughts I had while reading your post:
"That person's dad got them a Christmas present?!?"
"And it was a comic book?!?"
"And Dad had a thoughtful response about it?!? And was bothered by racism?!?"

MacGyver: racist.

Can't speak about Community but, yes, absolutely Arrested Development.  I guess they squeeze the humor out of the fact that people are closeted? But still, gay jokes, zzzzz

Seriously, is there a more enlightening message board than AV Club?

Hannibal is also an expert in human behavior, while Abigail is an 18-year-old girl.

Seriously, what the in the ever-loving hell.

Oof. Tough list.  I think Porcupine Nurse might move up ahead of Stag Heads simply because of the manual eye-gouging, which was absolutely horrific.

@avclub-7485b644403627612cc11d3e80ffa907:disqus  I don't know - he sure has some regrets about Miriam Lass…

Well, yeah, weren't we all taught by our hippie English teachers that those two words are interchangeable?

Hmm. Perhaps. I think her involvement with the murders is what will drive her relationship with Hannibal and his ensuing character development, so it works for me.

Time for your FRIDAY BUMMER FROM PHODREAW.

I agree completely that Hannibal will be in some way rejected by Will and that will lead to a more horrific, colder version of the Hannibal we already know.

There are other European atrocities we can pillage for the plot. It doesn't have to be WWII
