Not buying it. I'll be upset if it happens, and I have no doubt that the show will make it work, but right now I'm not seeing it. I definitely do think the Crowder Gang is headed for a major shakeup, but I'm not positive Ava's death will be it….
Guys, isn't it great that Raymond J. Barry left us with such a thorough, lived-in character to hate on and debate about? A lesser actor would have made that character seem caricatured and the emotions he inspires seem cheap, but an episode after he leaves the screen, we're still debating about the degree to which…
It's gotta be extremely liberating to have a conversation with the man who knew and killed the father you hated.
Yeah, that dynamic between the three of them (Shelby, Hunter, Raylan) in the car was just so great on so many levels. Sure, some people predicted the "twist" of Drew's identity, but the way the reveal happened, and the backstories that were revealed alongside that twist gave it so much extra weight and depth.
Patton was great in this episode. I loved how he said, "what with all the pollen…" No great surprise, of course, but he really pulled off the role of overly-sensitive, bullied , kinda sweet tough-guy-wanna-be.
Noel, I definitely don't think you're reading too much into Raylan's use of his father's words. That sentence (and the way it was spoken) was probably one of the most important of the episode. Raylan's still seething from Arlo's abuses when he says those words and he'll probably hold on to that anger for a long time…
5:30, eastern time. but I'm only taking a shot if Raylan kills a human.
Yeah, seems like it might be over your head.
Isn't he younger than Raylan? Pretty sure they mentioned being in school together…
Yeah, if I watch this it again, it will mostly just be for more scenes of Boris and Luther together…
I'm pretty sure it won't happen. She's already been shot and they killed off Arlo - seems like killing Ava would be too similar to both of those incidents. I do suspect something will go awry for the Crowders, but I think it'll be like Ava killing Johnny and Boyd not being able to forgive her…or Ava going to prison,…
This is a good a place as any to mention this: Brent Sexton and Jim Beaver were both in an episode of "Psych" called "High Noon-ish" about an old west tourist town. Jim Beaver played a character called "Stinky Pete" and Brent Sexton was, you guessed it, a sheriff.
Theo's niece, Sarah, is a great girl, wonderful to be around.
In his "light out bag?"
Now that I've had a few days to think about all this, I'm fairly positive that Drew and Eve are still together, or at least just working together. I think him saying something about laying his eyes on the widow was like a little joke with himself about how hot he thinks his wife is… So, yes, maybe the Drew thing is…
"I am the Drew Thompson"
- Harvey Dent
I'd love that, too, but I think it's going to be Shelby, with the "twist" being that Shelby and the psychic ex-wife are actually still communicating and/or working together.
You should follow him on facebook. He's a sweet guy.
Yeah, I have a feeling they're still in each others' lives.
