Oh yeah…I remember re-watching that episode after I saw Party Down, but it was before he was on Parks and Rec. That really must be weird.

I've wondered if you're right about Johnny playing double agent. I guess we'll see..
Well, if all of Boyd's clever plans go horribly awry, we could easily see his faith in himself destroyed. And I don't know what Raylan has faith in, but I could see his identity being shaken up pretty intensely by his father's death. Not to mention how identity relates to the Drew Thompson storyline. So i'd say…
Let's see if anyone is still around to have their mind (maybe) blown by actor trivia. Remember the 4th episode of "Veronica Mars" where Veronica goes to a college party to uncover the Silicon Mafia who've been scamming her friends? The big nerd? That was cockfight-loving Randall.
@avclub-2fe2186da00dfaa4bb4829cd7655ea0d:disqus I'd grab a drink or 6 with Baby Face…and probably just about anyone else on the "Justified" message board…
Interesting that he was so eager to claim ownership of his words and yet I still managed to miss it.
I feel like if we ALL pitch in, it should be bigger than a "little" trophy.
Yeah, and after you do that, maybe you should get started on the whole global warming thing…
I'm torn - part of me thinks Shelby is just using Ellen Mae to get something on the Crowders, but I'm also wondering if we're going to find out she's his ex-wife's (the psychic's?) daughter.
Men are lucky that way - they can use procreation to deny their morality, despite their proximity to the end.

Well, younger Arlo probably looked quite a bit like Raylan, so that explains Frances (sort of.) As for Helen, i think she had just grown attached in spite of herself. Doesn't really do much to lessen the mystery though….
Though, if he is a red herring, it brings up an interesting question as to why he is so interested in the widow and what she actually means for the Drew Thompson mystery. I have a feeling that he's Drew and she made off with the money somehow years ago. (Which would explain the question someone raised a few weeks…
Sorry - I'm confused. You say the reveal is on the nose, but there were no hints until this week. Are you complaining that there were suddenly too many clues revealed at once? I just don't see how it matters. I think that if this is just a red herring, it's actually much poorer writing than if they're just…
How is it "on the nose" or at all obvious? It seems obvious now, if it's not a red herring, because they dumped a bunch of wink-wink-nudge-nudge on us this week. But up until this episode, people were still guessing. And the first few episodes after the introduction of the Drew Thompson storyline, it was only one…
Yeah, a long, expressive monologue would not have been Raylan Givens's style. Maybe 2 sentences, but no more.
And Raylan's kid's going to be born soon. Gotta have a death before you get a birth…
He's pretty old, but he really plays up the old for this show.
I'm curious what this "RWG" is that people keep referencing. Robert ___ ___?
I'm not totally positive, but I think it's cause he played a character named Bobby on Supernatural. And the Sheriff part is cause he's a sheriff on this show.
