I agree with you, if the writers' goal is to deceive us.  However, it should be to just tell a good story.  With all of the hints Shelby was dropping, ("I'd sure like to get my eye on that widow) it would just be contrived deception for the sake of deception on the part of writers.

@avclub-baf85a9c743fef2c046bd5cd59d7fc98:disqus , but why would his fingerprints have been in the system? He wasn't a known criminal back then, and even if he had been, did the U.S. even have a computerized national fingerprints record?  Sure, they may have had to take his fingerprints when he first became sheriff,

Is Timothy Olyphant losing weight? Or did Raylan just get a bigger hat?

Not before we find out what she has to do with those robberies.

A wizard congress was responsible for the Salem Muggle Trials.

Yeah, but Shelby didn't list "fruit dealer." He said "pilot."

Dude, Drew Peterson was a real scumbag who murdered his wives and hid behind a cop's badge. Drew Thompson is the fake scumbag who murdered an accomplice and hid behind a cop's badge.

I feel like that actor wasn't actually there for the shoot and they had to cut in those scenes.  The cuts to him were just too random.

One thought I had this episode was that Boyd's getting mighty cocky.  He was dead meat with that fake sheriff Tonin hitman until Raylan happened to walk in the door. I know he's playing it up for Ava's sake, but my goodness, he's in deep.

Yeah, as well as his interest in seeing Eve.  I think this is the one where the writers were like, "Let's just put an end to all the speculation on the comments boards."

Fox Mulder was an FBI agent. He had to go against people with power and was definitely not an insider.

I never thought the spikes seemed all that spiky. Just kind of bumpy…and colorful…and delicious.

I thought it was an Ike and Tina Tuna?

Due to a single smartass comment 10 years ago, myself and about 5 college friends are incapable of seeing lemonade without asking if it's "fresh-squozed."

Man, I love teas, but I don't understand the appeal of Earl Grey.  I guess I need to try the good stuff.

Wow, Tasha, your friends are much classier than mine.  Any of my friends who know that reference would totally follow through with the threat.

@avclub-a3e80e62340f85e584f072b212415d32:disqus , I don't know about your town, but in Atlanta we have easily a half dozen restaurants that have regular crawfish boils.

Deleting this comment because the next one makes it redundant.

I was hoping the account was going to be like our commenter "Reposted YouTube Comments," except for the entire internet.

I really, REALLY want to know what town transformed itself into Hogsmeade…so i can move there immediately.
