This idea actually could be pretty good.  It probably won't be, but it's not impossible.

Man, you guys are silly around here today.

My ex (from Seattle) said that he thought the best portrayal of Seattle-ites (Seattleans? whatever.) was Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character jogging in place while waiting for the crosswalk light to change, even though the intersection was empty and the roads completely deserted.

I've commented on this before and all my friends gave me looks like I was a weirdo.  But it's odd, right?

Whoops. Threw mine on the end without looking first. But here's another:

Seriously, this is the most important question.

From around age 11 to 14, I'd read a little of it every night. It wasn't the only book I'd read at night, of course, but it was my early-adolescent bible.

I'm kind of hoping for something like the ending of LA Confidential, which SPOILER ALERT, but Boyd is Bud and Ava is whatever Basinger's name was and we think the man is dead, but then (hooray!) we see them drive off together to a place far away from their complicated, corrupted lives.  Only in this case, shortly

Well, I think the key line was that Ava said she wanted to know "where all this was going" if I remember correctly, her fear being that she and Boyd would just headed on the path to Hell.  But Boyd showed her that not only was he also thinking about "where all this was headed," but that he had a very specific, very

I live in Georgia, and it's pretty common for people to claim (or, with the older generations, falsely deny) Cherokee ancestry.

So we'll call you, "Laughs with Politically Correct Regret."

I think they've both got pretty distinctive styles.  Noel's got a bit more maturity and thoughtfulness and Rabin is a bit more biting and playful. I can recognize a Rabin review within two sentences. "NAME THAT AV CLUB WRITER!"

I think it's still supposed to be highly unlikely.  It's not like they live in Oklahoma.

I agree about Ron Eldard's performance. His "don't hit girls" or whatever seemed intentionally uncomfortable.
