I dunno, I get the impression that famous personalities in the era of great correspondences - which Vonnegut was certainly a part of, if on the tail end - wrote with the idea that their letters would eventually come to light.  Even when some of the famously reclusive Thomas Pynchon's letters were made (briefly)

She's gone from being my favourite character to my least.  The terrible singing is a factor, but I mostly think the lead up to her relative happiness w/ Davis will prove to be the high point of her story arc and this prospective success is a setup for her to be one of S3's tragedies.  My poor heart just can't take it.

And even the ostensibly disposable bits at the back are worthwhile! The poster on Pemulis' wall mentioned in #211 has always stuck with me … "YES I'M PARANOID — BUT AM I PARANOID ENOUGH?"

Ask your local librarian about interlibrary loans! I live in the absolute middle of nowhere and have had no trouble requesting even the most obscure of books…just takes a little while for them to arrive.

Aside from being a brilliant song, Armistice Day has pretty much the most faithful representation of an acoustic guitar ever committed to record.

Aww. It's been a while since I watched it, but I felt like the Futurama made more of a mockery of anime, and there is certainly no shortage of things to mock, whereas this (though it was brief) felt a little warmer in tone.

After the disappointment of Futurama's brief anime sequence last season, this was pretty great.

I watched the first two episodes last night and the pilot definitely feels like a pilot.  The second episode though feels like a pretty fully formed Community episode.

Abed's subtle nod during Jeff and Pierce's performance is still one of my favourite little moments of the show.

Was a little underwhelmed a first….but then Jane put her fingers in her mouth and it jumped up a letter grade.  Was Alex always so stupid though? It seems like she's gone from having an awkward lack of self-awareness to just being a dummy.

Woefully short on Richard Harrow again, sigh!

Plus accepting his sexuality would have the happy side effect of being able to interact with female members of the cast…Of course, it's easy to imagine the majority of BBT viewers taking such a change rather poorly, heh.

Yeah. I mean, I appreciate the … craft I guess? that goes into something like Remedial Chaos Theory but I laughed way more at tonight's episode. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but I don't feel like it's a given the series' (or season's) best episodes are behind us.

Mediocre ep but "Depends how much time you spend on Yelp" made it for me.  Is Raj about to come out of the closet or something? After last week's focus on his fashion sense and this week's hummingbird tattoo…Well, it would sure solve the problem of his character's continued lack of development.

Treme: More emotionally manipulative than an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
