Wow, ok…I love The Wire, but of all the truly great American TV dramas, it's the only one that, to me, had an outright BAD season (5).

I feel like that's not an answer to what I asked, but I probably wasn't clear enough.  I've never quite bought (or cared) about these vague "central values" of conservatism (or liberalism).  I know way too many people from the small town in which I grew up who stayed there because they liked the idea of having

What Republican/conservative art really is there in modern America, though?  And what art with a right-wing point of view have you liked, or not minded?  I'm guess perhaps you'll say "24", but perhaps not - in any case, I can't think of any others that even exist, off the top of my head.

Also, there was just an article on the New Yorker website about how realistic Breaking Bad is about not only the science of meth production, but also the lives and attitudes and problems of the people in that industry, specifically in the Southwest by Meixco.  So there!

I said this exact same thing, in (almost) the exact same words, to my friend earlier today.  So I thought it was important to let you know that.

Couldn't agree with #1 more.  I'd specifically love interaction between Jesse and Walt Jr….Walt's two "sons".

The writer of this very article has called Deadwood season 2 the greatest of all television seasons, and I agree with him.

Odd that people with such similar tastes can disagree this much, and I think Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are both all-time top 5 shows (Deadwood is the greatest TV show of all time, inarguably, so ha), but I think Breaking Bad is decidedlymore re-watchable than the Sopranos.  I've watched each series all the way

The Eurythmics' "I Saved the World Today" over the end of "Knights in White Satin Armor" will always be my favorite…maybe in all of television.

I'm from Missouri, and your comment is quite untrue, but then again, replying to comments like this is pointless.  I do it cuz it's something to do.
