Fiona Apple, the talented Lana Del Rey.

YES. Personally I like it a lot better.

It really is dumb as shit.

Yeah, I hope they realize that people responded to the nuance, and that the more "24" esque elements were the weak points. Though from Gansa's comments on Aileen and Faisel, I think he understands that.

Carrie is my favourite character on TV.

Todd had a really good line in one of his reviews that sums up the show's politics: "In the world of Homeland, it doesn’t matter who’s in power because power becomes a perpetual motion machine." The show isn't concerned with left/right. It's very much character based and raises a lot of questions about honor, morality

So awesome. I love sweded movies.

@avclub-7cca8eff93fd15cd46cfd1a0487a674b:disqus Have any of those comics made remarks about stabbing black people?

You have a very literal view of sitcoms. Half the characters on TV must seem cognitively disabled to you.

So far it seems… not very insightful? All this episode really said about the controversy was "Yep! Tracy is an idiot!". Which is true, but not very interesting. The way they neutered his remarks made the protesters look like idiots, because if Tracy Morgan had just said “…If I got turned into a gay, I’d sit around all

The protesters signs had me cracking up.

Yeah, I'm reserving judgement on the Tracy stuff till next week.

That was pretty on point. Pretty much everything Jenna said made me laugh out loud, especially her longwinded Phil Spector story.

Pawnee is an adorable hick-ass hometown though. Isn't this show all about having a deep affection for something that's kinda shitty?

Whenever I watch this I'm amazed at how such a silly show has such rock solid writing. I can appreciate how tough it is to keep a convoluted soap from collapsing in on itself, especially after watching Downton Abbey take a turn for the absurd.

It's a bit unclear. I think that Daniel just interpreted it that way and she went with it.

I don't watch anymore but I did fast forward to his pool scenes. No shame.

Born To Lose bored me but this sounds really good. At least it seems like some sort of progression from their last album.

Mind=Blown

2.3/2.1 in the demo. Not great but something they'll want to build on.
