I've always done that, and it's the fans that are the ones that are ignorant children. They cannot tolerate diversity of opinion. I can't tell you how many times I've been called sexist because I don't like "Girls."

So, because I don't like this show now, I'm a sexist. Really, dude, just shut the fuck up.

This show just gets less likable as each episode passes. At this point, I'm just hate watching, and I, as suspect I many, will not be back for season. The already low ratings will plummet in season 2. Lena Dunham tries hard to be funny a lot of the time, but she's a terrible comedy writer, and much worse at executing

And I have done that many times, and a critic shouldn't be intentionally personalizing it like what Todd was saying.

It doesn't work as a critic. I'd, of course, want everyone to gloat over my art. But that's not the job of a critic unless, of course, it is objectively gloat worthy. You can't look at art as if it was your own, because it is human nature to not being able to separate it and objectively review it.

I was referring to his comment about us reviewing something like it was our own work, which is total bullshit. A critic's job is to look at the art objectively and review it from that standpoint.

Why can't you all just accept that certain people don't like mediocre shows like "Girls." I think it's poorly written, Dunham tries hard to be funny but fails, and flat out contrived plots, unrealistic nonsense etc. I just don't like Girls. I hate watch it now because of all the hype, but I can assure,  like many

So what? What's the point of being so petty?

I was 12 when this movie came out and saw it in theaters and loved it then, but over the past 8 years, I've grown up, so now I hate it.

The Amos N Andy bit was BRILLIANT!!!!

Where did I say the characters on Girls were oppressed?

You obviously have no idea what I was talking about. I was talking about white females in general.

"Pity party?" That's the kind of typical ignorant answer I'm used to getting from Caucasians, though, so no surprise here.
