I think the chemistry between Beverly and Will is better than between Alana and Will. He just seems more comfortable around her and she seems interested in him as a person. His scenes with Alana always feel like she's got him under a microscope.  I would be happy to see them get more scenes, either as friends or

I had the same problem too, particularly at the end between the brightly lit isolation tank and the brightly lit office — it looked like that bleached her hair in between those scenes, but I guess they just cleaned it?

See this scene (and prior similar scenes) just make me think that either Crawford is playing Will as much as Hannibal is or Crawford is just really, really dumb.

I really loved that opening scene — fantastically creepy, full of all those little horror elements and when that blood sprayed out from under the bed my partner and I grabbed each other's arms. Normally the gore/horror stuff on this show doesn't bother me, but something about the force of that spray from under the bed

woooooooohoooooooo

So there was this interview with Julie Plec:

I just want to know one way or the other at this point — I hate not knowing.

This is a fantastic idea.

Thank you for putting Thug Kitchen into my life. Damn.

That shot blew me away. Gorgeous on top of an already fantastic looking show. Not just bars across Hannibal's face — I loved the way the bars lined up to cover his eyes. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago that the show looks like a graphic novel — all the shots are just perfectly framed. This scene was yet another

I have the same reservations about how the old man raised that totem pole or how the angel killer ever got himself up in the rafters of the barn, but the thing that bothers me the most is Abigail going to MN to dig up that body.

I have two fancy food plans for this week: Sweet Potato Tater-tots and Blueberry Crisp.

That makes the most sense — he's just the oldest and therefore has the most developed stuff going on. Doesn't explain the Damon sucker punch that took him down, but I've pretty much given up on how all that works.

This is one of the worst episodes of new doctor who I've seen. The writing was awful, the villain's plan made no sense and was barely there. The villain's daughter's idea of acting eventually just devolved into a lot of shouting.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I miss Rebekah as a villain or at least villain-y. Remember way back when when she was really good at telling if someone was lying? That went away. I liked her as Klaus' partner in crime in early season 3.

See now that's an interesting point — you're absolutely right that at the beginning of the season there was so much about Stefan trying to "fix" her and about him being in love with her humanness rather than Elena herself. So I find it suspect as well that he would leap right in to take her back.

This was my approach to it too — Will is socially awkward and Alana overthinks everything, so of course they have a weird fumbly kiss.

I wasn't distracted, but I did think it was particularly lovely. I tend to find a lot of fight scenes boring if they go as long as this one did, but it was just so gorgeous in that light there was no chance for boredom. I love the way they're lighting this show in general — it's dark but in a way that feels more

At least it looks like she knows they shouldn't hold the Silas/Stefan reveal off too long. Hooray for doppleganger hijinks, they were pretty funny back when no one knew Katherine was around.

We never really got any confirmation on what Silas really is — immortal thingy or super vampire or what. Now that he'll be theoretically more integrated with the cast I'm curious to see if we get more clues about what he actually is.
