(Friday nights are good writing nights — everyone else is out doing stuff and my house gets quiet. But then I fell asleep next to the computer and it was all over.)

Pshaw, they're all baby vamps. Stefan's 160+ and I bet he's never really turned anybody. It would be an interesting story if he had, though.

@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus You forgot, the show forgot, Kol forgot.
Either thousands of people perished from the earth without anyone noticing or Kol was the least prolific vampire ever.I take it back, that's probably Stefan. Second least prolific.

This is an excellent thought — that Will's passive not just because of his social issues or autism spectrum stuff or whatever, but because he's afraid of himself. He's intentionally holding himself back from other people.

Magic hate sex baby — that has such a ring to it.

If Jeremy could become half as interesting as later seasons Wesley he would be way more tolerable. And kindof amazing.

One day could just be Kol and an army of vampires from Kol's line. That would be awesome and tie up that damn mess.

There was a bit, when they were in sick bay with Khan and he looks at her and then she runs off to do something moments later. That, plus the shadiness of her being on the ship in the first place, plus knowing about the torpedoes made me think that they were working together too. That actually would have made the

And it would have been so good. They could have had different guest stars rotate in through the episodes.

Are you implying that Original Damonganger has had a southern gentleman vampire hogtied somewhere this whole time? Mmmm…I'd buy that.

@olivececile:disqus We saw him eat an egg scramble with sausage in the first episode — and I believe we're assuming it was human sausage. Other than that Will has missed all the dinner parties and fancy meals that Hannibal has been making.

This was what I thought too. The angle would be super wrong for that to fall on Tobias head, plus Hannibal admits that he killed him. I think tipping the table was just to make it look more like a weapon of convenience during a crazy fight.

She seems to have completely gotten over Jenna's death to the point where she might as well not have existed.

See this is the situation where you want to find the inevitable Damon doppleganger.

You talking Stefan/Damon action or Stefan/Silas action? Or maybe Stefan/Silas/Damon?

It's always bothered me that they've never even tried to use another hybrids blood — they just always go right to Klaus. Back when Caroline was bitten for the nth time, they should have at least given Tyler's blood a go.

@avclub-ae1846aa63a2c9a5b1d528b1a1d507f7:disqus He killed Garrett Jacob Hobbes in the first episode — put something like ten bullets in and around him.
Then we got a scen of him practicing at a range in the next episode, followed by him shooting the pharmacist in the shoulder.

@avclub-ae1846aa63a2c9a5b1d528b1a1d507f7:disqus See I'm having the opposite reaction to Will with guns. He's already shot two people on-screen, killing one of them. When I saw him go into that basement with the gun I was pretty certain we'd see him fire, just uncertain about whether he'd kill another one.

I'm wondering the same thing. Hannibal is obviously grooming Will for friendship or family or whatever weird label he puts on it. And he obviously sent Will into Tobias' path. Did he know that Will would survive or was this some sort of test?

I've watched a bunch of the episodes three times each now, because I keep putting them on for people who come over and visit. Normally I would half watch something and fiddle with my phone, but each time I find myself pulled in again, looking at all the little details.
