I've seen the Halloween special — but is there really stuff in the Shallow Gravy special that's important? If there is I'll go track it down.

While I was watching the episode I felt like it was a little bit of a mess, jumping all over the place with quick little scenes and cuts. But thinking back on it, I don't think it was a mess — I think they've just spent so much time on slow, methodical episodes that anything with a quicker pace threw me off track.
I loved that shot of Will looking at Hannibal in the ambulance. It reminded me of when Jack figures out about his wife's cancer — so much conveyed with just a look of dawning understanding.
I'm with you. I loved this weird, deformed little thing all the way through. It's just the right amount of bizarre. I don't care about the overarching plot line, I just want to watch these weirdos bounce off each other, living their weird little lives.
"Quid Pro Quo, Clarice."
"I don't speak Spanish."
I'm betting it's GRRM is just messing with fans heads with this pregnancy thing. He's baiting us with the hope that something of Rob will survive the RW.
@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus I agree with you in some ways.
@avclub-d80ecbbbef6ab40a4e53d1ad2c3fc1b2:disqus Hell yeah red velvet cookies are a thing! Irritating to make, but I like your angle on the "blood and stuff."
A multi-ep war between the gang and all the people they've killed? That's a fantastic idea.
Ok, I agree, that's pretty good looking. Maybe there's hope for the finale yet.
@mike__tv:disqus I agree. When you take a step back from how the Veil affects the main characters, it's a pretty shitty deal.
The scene was so dark, though, I couldn't really tell you what was going on. Was it that his skin got weird or was it just that he was turning to stone?
@avclub-f7f8eb12e0f61a9321597157c0d61791:disqus Always an excellent choice.
I'm also considering shortbread or possibly mint double chocolate.
I don't trust Bonnie to know how to tie her own shoes most days — so trusting her to tell the difference between Alaric and Silas? Nope.
This is proof that Plec's gone insane. She told this story voluntarily?
Wow. That movie looks beyond awful. Thanks for putting that in my head.
Don't worry about it: so did all of the characters on the show.
If Damon doesn't get the Cure I'll give the show so much credit — because it is obvious and glaring.
Rebekah mumbled something about Caroline drinking vervain so she can't be compelled. Which I think is meant to imply that Silas' mindfuck powers aren't the same thing as compulsion or something, so there's no vervain antidote. But really it's just lazy lazy writing.
Every time they bring up dumping someone in the ocean I scream "WHALE BLOOD!" But I'm kinda weird.
