Yeah, I know I was bound to miss out on some stuff. I know it wasn't the best way to go about it and I wouldn't really recommend it as a good method for others (or do it this way again with another series).

I cannot like this comment enough.
My sisters are constantly trying to get me to watch this, but every suggestion starts with "The beginning is a bit rough but it definitely picks up…" plus there's a billion episodes.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but the Wire falls right into this category for me. It's not that there's too much of it, more just all the cultural weight around it that's intimidating.
Absolutely. It was intimidating years ago, but when Jordan up and died it got even worse. It became a massive sprawling series that might never fully pay off because the author was dead before it finished. Sure it was finished by another author, but I don't even want to get started on something with a break like…
I felt the same way about Lost for the longest time — I never wanted to fall down the crazy rabbit hole of that show because of how much time would be involved.
Loves me a road trip episode.
I just hope they find someway to make those deaths noticeable in the world. It'll be weird if Kol died with his whole line and it has no recognizable effect on things. Just something, show, give me something to make it matter a little.
What a great episode — almost a return to the good old days. Lots of stuff going on all at once - stupid plans, double crosses, characters making alliances on top of alliances, violence, stabbings, chases, angry Klaus, goofy Damon. And a death! This is what I've been waiting for all season, lightning-fast pace and…
*Episode 03x03 Comment*
After seeing the third ep of season 3, now I really wish there was a review. So many great lines, probably one of the best eps of the entire series. (Except for the return of that accent on Dyson.)
I'm conflicted on this: I'm sad that regular coverage is ending, but then again I almost always disagree with the reviewer. I guess I mostly love reading the other commenters' thoughts. Maybe you could just post episode titles and we could review it ourselves.
I always seem to have the exact opposite reactions to this show then everyone else, whenever I come here to read the review and comments after watching.

I thought this, then I felt bad for thinking this.
I just rewatched it and confirmed — the Hulu version has the DwtS dialogue still in. Weird.
That's weird: I just watched it (no caps, on Hulu) and I heard him talk about getting on Dancing with the Stars. What dialogue did everyone else hear him say?
The most dangerous thing to be in Mystic Falls is someone's parent or surrogate parent. This show is hell-bent on every main character being an orphan by the end of the show.
