I've been arguing since S2 that Pope And Associates is Stockholm Syndrome with a decent health plan, so I hear ya on this.

The lack of crowds was indeed weird. But I didn't have enough knowledge to state why there were empty seats in the skating arena, never mind the fact that the mountain had apparently 12 people watching slope style.

I meant only in terms of "initially villainous, but then develops a conscience". That's how the first three seasons of the show have played out, though you're right that the specific plot seems more Jon Snow-esque. Man, maybe we need a spoiler-thread in this for GOT.

I thought that might have been part of it, but don't know enough about the game to make that assertion in my review. I did check with the LOTR ep from a few years back, and confirmed Cartman's wearing the same wizard hat. So I ran with that, and welcome any additional info in the comments!

I'd venture that a "B+" is a pretty good grade, and that I enjoy episodes that give me this much to wrestle with. I'd rather talk about my conflicted feelings about this than my outright boredom with the Goth kids.

It's a complete and total coincidence. (We picked all episodes about two months ago.) But pretty great all the same!

It's truly one of my finest moments in the history of writing for this site. There can be nowhere to go but down from here.

I'll say that yet, there's _something_ there, but so subsumed that it's nigh impenetrable. The fifth episode definitely highlights some of the underlying tension that permeates the show. Maybe it's just that "The Fall" isn't concerned with anyone not fairly familiar with the intricacies of the situation. In any case,

I don't have much in the way of knowledge about traffic. But you'll definitely be getting reviews from me for the last two episodes!

Amended, thanks. But man, I like what I heard SO MUCH MORE. Because…how? How could he have done that? That would have taken some serious skills.

It's a review, not a recap. Can't mention every little thing, unfortunately. I figured I'd hold off all talk on her until her threats take up more space. But yes, Bellamy Young is usually awesome.

Just a weird formatting thing. Thanks for the heads up!

If this condition lasts for more than four hours, consult your physician.

I have an upcoming interview w/ DeKnight that will post here on The A.V. Club in which this particular moment gets addressed.

OK, I can see what he's saying. HOWEVER, that explanation is completely unsupported by the text, ie the show itself. If we have to read an interview to understand show inconsistencies, that's the show not doing its job. It's the same thing as only enjoying "Game Of Thrones" by reading the book. The show needs to stand

"Gods Of The Arena" is the first thing I ever reviewed here. Those reviews definitely exist on the "Spartacus" main page.

The "House Of Cards" coverage is definitely a test model for future coverage. So as much feedback as possible is great. I am not privy to such things, but I can't imagine "Arrested Development" will be covered in this manner. That's as much because of feedback to these reviews as the show itself. Every case will be

Many thanks!

I'm with Ajax here, but only because audience's conception of what "low stakes" are have been skewed by shows that travel in huge amounts of bloodshed or geographically expansive stories. What goes down in CT feels simple, but when it's locked in, it has as much to say about the human condition as those other shows

And this is why I don't watch promos. I like having time to come up with theories, even if those are totally wrong. I am wondering how many who didn't watch that promo, like me, assumed Agron was a goner. I remember there being a TON of speculation that Ilithyia survived the end of "Vengeance", a theory DeKnight had
