I'm glad to see that Marah Eakin knows what's up. I've been listening to Sturgill Simpson's "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" for months now and it's still incredible. Sturgill puts on a helluva live show too.

One day some of the shows from the network carried my mother's groceries all the way home. You know why? It was outta respect.

"You know who used to cut class?  Jimi Hendrix.  You know what happened to him? He died! Choking on his own vomit."

Wow, there are other Christians on the AV Club?  I was starting to feel like the only one.

Dammit Sean
You almost gave me a heart attack with a headline like that. My old ticker is fragile man…

Zodiac, Motherfucker!
is what this article should have been called.

Wow, I guess I'd never noticed the superfluous "ly" before. That said, I still think it's an awesome song and I'd forgive Tom Waits for just about anything except child rape.

For some reason, I always find the phrase "smoking drugs" hilarious. Good job.

What I've always hated about "Take the Money and Run" is the way it just sorta gives up in the middle. Steve spends a whole verse setting up this badass sheriff, but then they just "get away" from him. That's it. No climax. No standoff. No anything. It's like when your grandmother tells a rambling, pointless

David Hasselhoff
Hope there's a scene where he introduces the Sons to his "crotch rocket".

E.B. Farnum and Richardson
I'd like to see a wacky spinoff comedy about the two of them moving to San Francisco to open a swanky B & B. Hilarity ensues.

YES!!! HORNBERGER!!!

After we finally nab the Ripper, then we'll move on to the New Orleans Axeman and Austin's Servant Girl Annihilator.

We'll realize that last season was a dream when Victoria Principal wakes up and finds Gale in the shower.

John Goodman playing the ostrich guitar.

The White Stripes are still one of my all-time favorite bands, and they were enormously influential in terms of the number of other artists they turned me on to. That said, my only (minor) quibble with the article is that WBC has NO blues songs on it. And that comes from Jack White, not me:

That's true, but I've noticed how the pacing got even tighter over time. Plus, Ron Howard's narration seems a little dull at first, but he gets a lot better after a few episodes.

Yep, me too.

Say what you will about the tenants of evolutionary philosophy, Dude. At least it's an ethos.

It is indeed entitled "The Wolverine"
The use of the definite article prevents you from confusing it with other lesser-known wolverines. Not just any wolverine mind you, but THE wolverine!
