Sgt. Pepper's isn't even in the top 3 Beatles albums, but it's still Pepper by a huge margin.

I don't particularly understand the need to compare these two particular albums. I know this is the common debate as they're the two "masterpieces," but Pet Sounds compares more closely to Rubber Soul or maybe Revolver to my ear. Although both Rubber Soul and Revolver are clearly superior.
Pepper. Pepper Pepper Pepper Pepper. And I do really like Pet Sounds.
That's one bit of censorship that I think actually improves a scene.
The only bit that really drags for me is the visit with Esteban in Vol. 2. Maybe if it was played by Ricardo Montalban (as originally intended) it would have worked better for me, but as it is it just seems a bit pointless.
From what I've seen, it seems to be fairly evenly split, with maybe a slight edge toward Vol. 2. I have a hard time comparing them since they're so completely different, and I love them both, but I've certainly rewatched Vol. 1 more times.
I'll never forget seeing this for the first time, not knowing ANYTHING about it. I'd just heard that it was supposed to be good, and didn't even really know who Tarantino was (though I'd seen Pulp Fiction for the first time not too long before this). Went with a friend, and came out just absolutely giddy. That Shaw…
The comments are honestly the main draw on this site at this point. There's very little here other than the fantastic commentariat that I can't just get on other sites.
Must be why we beat them in football nearly half the time.
Definitely agree. I find it sad every time Cooper speaks, I think because I'm always hoping he'll snap out of it and say something that he really seems to understand. My dad had a brain tumor that essentially made him unable to speak in any way that made sense, so I would find myself kind of projecting some sort of…
I didn't bother to read how it came up, just stopped there and closed the tab.

According to "George Lucas: A Life," he also really wanted to cast a black actor (can't remember who it was) to play Han Solo, and was very hurt by the criticism that the film came off as racist in any way.
Right, but it's a weird leap to say that a poor edit of the film indicates that the direction was awful, when there is also a fantastic edit of that same footage. It just means it was poorly edited to begin with.
According to "The Secret History of Twin Peaks," Pete through himself in front of her, saving her life and sacrificing his own.
Absolutely. The clearly artificial but unsettling effects just remind me of my own dreams/nightmares, where things clearly don't look real but feel real in the moment.
"The Missing Pieces" are the deleted scenes from Fire Walk With Me, available on the most recent release of the film. And yes, they are quite good.
It's also incredibly annoying to see ads for things that I bought/was researching for someone else as a gift.
Right, but even though I may use the word "Kleenex" to refer to tissues, I still never buy Kleenex brand.
I tend to just pick the cheap one, whatever it is I'm buying. As far as brand awareness, I guess I can understand the idea there, but I really only look at price when making these decisions. Or I'll specifically try something new, in which case brand awareness, if it plays into it at all, works against my choice.
