I will never understand how advertising works. Do people actually buy products because they see an ad? Do people shop at places just because they recognize their name? I mean, it must work because the industry is so enormous, but I just have never seen an example of it working in my own life.*

I don't even really understand why anyone would care about live ratings on something like this. It's 2017. Everyone is either streaming it or DVRing. I signed up for it yesterday and streamed it.

Absolutely. The Club Silencio scene is the perfect example; guy comes out, tells you everything is a recording, demonstrates it with his trumpet, then you STILL think the singer is actually singing until she collapses.

You are 100% correct, that is not the coolest choice. ;)

Oof, how did I forget Marquee Moon? LOVE that song!

I'd have to go with "The End." Triple the guitar solo! And each so perfectly captures the personality and style of John, Paul and George.

Well, "Wonderful Christmastime" has the longer runtime, so I'll go with that.

I'm pretty sure if you put that exact same scene in a movie, you'd get an automatic 'R' rating. It just goes on so long and is so absolutely terrifying and brutal, not to mention the sexual aspects of it. I will never understand how it got on TV.

I'm with you. I just finished rewatching the series yesterday and in that particular stretch of the show, the Civil War bits are the most enjoyable and memorable bits. Beymer is consistently enjoyable throughout the series.

Yeah, I would be sad if I didn't know Forster would be taking his place.

I would be just as skeptical as you if these weren't being directed by Lynch himself. Knowing he's doing every episode completely removes any hesitation I may have had.

My guess is that Bob will now use Leland's face as his own. Which I'd be totally fine with, as Ray Wise is just as terrifying.

Woozle wuzzle?

That really was the most underwhelming "super weapon" I've ever seen.

Eh, you've got the whole Darkhold/magic angle mixed in to the creation of the Framework, so maybe they could be real?

I think there are a couple shots where he's kind of just whipping back and forth in front of her between buildings, blocking her way and forcing her to make certain turns. It's just hard to tell when it's just fast yellow streaks and ice bridges everywhere.

Yes yes yes. SHIELD has been killing it this year thanks to these shorter arcs. I'm still genuinely shocked by how good that show is now compared to season 1.

I THINK it's because Wally was good in the flashpoint timeline, while Caitlin was evil over there. That still doesn't explain WHY she was evil over there, though.

That was one of the saddest upvotes I've ever given….

There's a copycat one just outside of my work in San Francisco. As a big fan of Ressurect Dead, I was VERY excited to find it!
