Can someone remind what his rationale is for shutting down Gloria's investigation? I can kind of understand why he thinks her theory on the Stussys may involve a lot of coincidence, but it seems like he actively doesn't want her to look into her stepfather's murder.

The weather on the show always seems to lean winter, which I guess is played for mood and interior character dynamics. Everybody's always bundled up in a coat because they have something to hide and whatnot.
