The scene where Roy told her he killed Sara was terribly written and terribly acted by both Cassidy and Haynes and it was enough to pretty much sink the entire episode for me.

Ah! Thanks :)

Not true. They're very different songs coming from very different angles. "New Slaves" ties together Kanye's experience with discrimination in the high-end fashion world, the prison-industrial complex, the inherent racism in America's institutional wealth and more. I love the hell out of "All Falls Down" and I think

I loved that song so much. Vintage Burgers.

My worry is that if this show were on Cartoon Network it wouldn't have the budget to have all the awesome guest stars it always has.

But we did get three or four 'burgers of the day' for this episode.

Personally I'm just holding out until Once Upon a Time in Carcosa.

"Regardless, there's never been a more relevant 56-year-old rock star."

When I saw the sketch I didn't think "comically scared black person" was the punchline. I thought the humor was just supposed to come from the idea of the resident skeptic on one of these shows making an immediate turnaround to superstition with absolutely no resistance, which I thought was actually a pretty funny

I think it was partially trick photography. Adrianne Palicki is tall but she was shot to look like a Nordic giantess.

Yeah, they still haven't had any episodes that I've thought were truly great. Nothing to stack up against the best of Whedon's other shows, to be sure.

Honestly it's sorta seemed like Mack has a crush on Fitz anyway so why not?

Hadn't known that. Guess that explains "Common passed on this beat, I made it to a jam."

Ah! Was unaware of that. Thanks.

Is Can Ox difficult to work with? Vast Aire is super underrated as an MC but I guess I can sorta imagine him being a dick.

Personally I like both of those way more than "Champion" or "The Glory", which both sound like mediocre College Dropout songs to me.

Pretty sure he was saying 'without him (as well as without Timbaland and the Neptunes)'. As in, all three of them together shaped hip-hop into what it is now.
