I have a week left. That's one last chance for Turk and I to sing "Islands In The Stream" together.

Valar Morghulis.

I'm well aware. That's why I disguised myself as the plant in the corner. Nobody say anything.

Sean's in a meeting all day, and because I'm leaving, I'm NOT in that meeting. So you have to put up with me for the day!

Disqus just frequently logs me in under my Twitter account, and I'm too lazy to jump through all of its hoops.

That formless, shapeless blathering playing to the identity politics of the uninformed paid for my house(-like apartment)!

Like I will have, Kyle had a number of pieces banked when he left, which have trickled out. But I think he left in… April, maybe?

Kyle actually left a few months ago. But everybody else is still here!

You're goddamn right I did.

Trust me, there will be plenty of Girls coverage after I've gone!

I love The Conversation. I just think it's cool that even if you remove The Godfather from his career, Coppola would still be able to make a claim for one of the best directors of his generation.

I actually spent a night trying to do just that and ultimately failed. I think the new design just doesn't like it.

My plan is to write about TV and film primarily for right now, but because the team (at least right now) is so small, I will probably be writing very few, if any, episodic reviews. That said, I would feel REALLY weird not reviewing the last season of Mad Men.

I don't know about comments, yet, but I'm going to make the argument they're a good fit with a culture section. I don't know if it will fly!

I think next Friday's What's On Tonight might have a little something for you.

You DO realize if Community hadn't been canceled, none of this would have happened, right? (No, it still would have happened.)

No. I have some pieces filed, but in general, my bylines here will end a week from Monday.

When I came up with this idea, I knew that would be the general response. But Sonia and I can argue for hours about this topic. Hours!

Vox is a really exciting new venture headed up by Ezra Klein. The aim of the site is to provide context to what's in the news. Mostly, though, they just want to assemble a team of people and let them do what they do. My work will probably be a little different, but not radically so. And I'll have a great team backing

I remember an interview in the first season where Lindelof said the show would always be about Jack vs. Locke, in some aspect, and that really bore out throughout all six seasons.
