Nah, HBO is doing that.
That was ages ago, with completely different people at the helm!
Eh, American Dad ran there for years and years. Bob's is still the best shot they have at someday replacing The Simpsons. I'll bet it all works out.
They've changed the ending.
For a couple of seasons, they had The Apprentice on after a one-hour comedy bloc. It's basically the same as what they'll have this fall: one hour of reality and an hour of comedies.
I suspect this is right. The show is too hamstrung with its current deals, and I don't think Hulu has the kind of money it would take to bring it back. Plus, I hear a lot of people WITHIN the show are ready to move on, which makes sense.
Well, this doesn't say they "passed" so much as they aren't in negotiations, but I get the sense Sony worked down to the wire to make it work with NBC, which is why they weren't working with streaming services or cable nets. But Netflix probably isn't going to happen because of the Hulu issue.
Well, Hulu and NBC share the same corporate parent, but the people who canceled Community aren't going to be anywhere near the people who would pick it up over at Hulu.
Yeah, Awake. But that was always a miniseries that got cruelly turned into a real series.
That's actually a fairly small drop for a blockbuster these days. A lot of 'em are in the 65% range.
I suggest you not watch the trailer for the show about your life. It will only make you sadder.
NBC has so much midseason stuff that I don't dare to presume where it will end up.
Again, this year. The Blacklist is consistently one of TV's top 15 most watched shows, and it has a real shot at the lower reaches of the top 10. It'll probably land 11th or 12th, though.
It's pretty typical for a star of her caliber to be offered an EP title to incentivize signing onto the show. (That way, she'll get a larger cut of profits from syndication and streaming deals.) Weird that her mom is, but I assume the same principle applies.
We did a newswire on it when it was picked up by TBS. So I'm not sure why we'd talk about it here?
Community ran for five years? That's an AMAZING run, and it's all because NBC kept renewing it. I wanted a sixth season, too, but it's not like NBC treated the show like shit.
Also, Parenthood for six. It's been a long, long time since NBC canned a really good show early in its run. I guess some people are upset with Go On being canceled, but I never liked that show.
Dick Wolf should continue his Chicago-verse with a series based on the Chicago Fire of the MLS.
Blacklist has way less leverage now that it's on the schedule. Last year, Sony could say, "Well, if you pick up more Community, we'll cut the license fee," and NBC wanted Blacklist SO MUCH that it was willing to do that. Now that the show is on the schedule, it's not like Sony is going to STOP making The Blacklist.
