I actually would have given this a B just based on the pilot, which wasn't bad. I have faith in the people involved, etc., etc. But the other episodes are just such repeats of the pilot, which is the sort of thing you'd think Katims would know not to do by now. I dunno…

I'm in LA, and I honestly don't think it's playing here. It makes sense that a movie about a Broadway legend would primarily be playing in new York.

Consult your local movie listings! (It is probably not playing in your area.)

TV reviews always have that info.

They've changed it for the show, in a way that doesn't make much sense.

Community is also funny.

Weirdly, I think Michael J. Fox probably would have done about as well as anything they've put there if ABC had won that bidding war. It seemed essentially constructed to make you never realize you were no longer watching Modern Family.

SOME of us loved her since Drop Dead Gorgeous! No, Catch Me was the first movie where I was, like, "Who IS that girl?" and then I realized she was Cousin Beth.

I have highlighted The Awful Truth too many times in this space to highlight it again. Great movie.

I don't listen to as much music as some people here, but I listen to a fair amount of new music while writing.

The door is always open to Donna doing whatever she wants for us. But her professional obligations have gotten too great to continue doing even the occasional freelance article for us. I know. It's too bad.

That was my favorite album of last year!

I will write this musical with you.

I agree. Make The Village a TV miniseries with the twist closing out episode one of three, and I think this is one of the best things ever. As it is, it's a near miss.

Thank you for your appreciation.

House Of Cards would pretty clearly love to be Breaking Bad. It's not like we're comparing Big Bang Theory to Walter White and company.

I had screeners for the first four, so I went in with a head start.

I think you missed the word "finale" there.

We're doing one.

I think you need to read this book.
