My family is so into this film we all got bootlegs of it for Christmas one year (as, regrettably, there has never been an official DVD release). Salmon salad surprise indeed.

Yeah, I tend to agree, and I think the Beatles thing was just an easy rung for the media to hang their hat on (and the band themselves regularly provoked the comparisons, like the time Liam said that Heathen Chemistry was "better than fookin' Revolver"). But if you go and listen to albums like "Electric Warrior",

Dude, you're like the NY Press come to life as a person.

That's OK, I hear what you're saying and I'm digging what you're preaching.

I thought their last album, "Black Light", was really solid. I know their 90's stuff sounds very, em, 90's, but it's nice to hear them evolve that sound over time.

"Spandex: it's a privilege, not a right"

Agreed. Apollo 440 on the other hand…woof.

Yeah, Heathen Chemistry was kind of a let down, especially after Liam claimed in Mojo that it was "Better than Revolver".

Count me in, I am very much looking forward to this.

Blanket statements are dumb. Thank you for your contribution.

Not only is Noel brilliant in the documentary itself, but his deleted interview scenes also have tremendous re-watch-ability.

I had no idea you are such a big fan of Fringe, Cookie Monster. I think you've now toppled The Count as my favorite Sesame character.

I actually think this is a fairly good point, while a popular song is probably going to get remixed at some point, a *really* popular song will get remixed multiple times in multiple ways, and those versions get filtered into stadiums, car commercials, stores, tv shows, etc. further expanding the song's ubiquity.

Meg White
Is this a good place to start up one of those "Meg White was an amazing drummer"/"no she wasn't you hillbilly douchebag, Neil Pert, etc." debates?

Is it just me, or does this not seem that offense? I don't get it. The guy doesn't like circumcision, so what? Sir Osis is right, people are grabbing at straws here. Now if he actually hit a Jewish person with, say, a hotel phone because they were they on their way to a bris, I could understand.
