She was really pretty! I remember thinking they were both old-looking at the time (I was 17 or 18) and I figured they HAD to be in their 40s. Seeing the clips I now see they were maybe in their mid-30s.

One thing I always appreciate about the AV Club comments is being exposed to the different perspectives everyone has. Always gives me something to think about.
This episode was all about setting up what everyone wants - and what Skyler wants is to have her family back. That seemed very clear to me in this episode; she won't give up Walt, she won't give up Holly. Everything she has done has been for the reason of keeping her family together. There's no way she's ever letting…
@nowlo:disqus I can't like your post enough!
@avclub-7e1ce4ce3124fd9ecc13a151afcff11b:disqus I take away the same reading of Hank that you have. Hank is a hell of a lot more shaken by this than I think anyone realized. He is scrambling - Hank's a take-action kind of guy, as opposed to Skyler's calculating type. So he's kind of out blundering along, stomping all…
Between her and Betsy Brandt (and even Lydia!) it was a real showcase for the women on this show tonight. Damn.
We've seen Walt bring Jesse back from what seemed an untenable edge before, but I honestly think that Walt's ability to talk Jesse off the ledge is completely played out and exhausted. I don't think there's any bringing Jesse around to the bright side of life again.
I think the show would definitely take advantage of that in us viewers. We still cling to Walt's humanity, and that has always taken the form of his feelings about family.
@avclub-8890e84fa8244fb6b45175bda383cd93:disqus My first impulse is to disagree with you, do you really think Walt would go back to kill Jesse after he already flipped? I dunno, it just doesn't seem to fit with Walt's character, at least as far as Jesse is concerned. He's gone to great lengths to keep Jesse alive.…
So is it open knowledge in the BB universe that Walt killed Mike? It seemed like Saul knew it unequivocally. Was he in on the planning and I just forgot?
She doesn't have that one flaw of Walt's, the need to always be right (or to have the last word). That hampers his lying skills.
Seconded/thirded, Skyler has always been a schemer, figuring out the angles. You can often see the gears turning with her. I didn't expect her to hold so tough, though, not really.
I don't think she thought Marie was wearing a wire, but she was just as careful as Heisenberg about what she says and to whom. She doesn't want to let anything slip until she knows how much they know.
Yeah, I was just thinking, "Oh there is no way in HELL she's letting you take her baby, sister."
Doesn't Wilmar Whats-his-chops do a cartoon voiceover? Or did that get canceled?
Ha ha, noodly!

@avclub-94d8526a5fae933806f65b8a0f49301a:disqus I don't know, ARE you a doctor?
@avclub-d019eb089e65903455cc52308f00b997:disqus I hope I don't give the impression that I think fanfic/slashfic writers are untalented or somehow lesser writers in some way, because I absolutely don't feel that way at all. I admire them for having so much passion for something that they take the time to create these…
So, @avclub-94d8526a5fae933806f65b8a0f49301a:disqus , why the agoraphobia?
