Kimba was really when I first felt like a real proto-hipster (that thankfully never fully developed thanks to my poor natural taste in music), since none of my friends even knew what it was. Ditto Speed Racer, although they caught up to that eventually.

Getting to see a "Hot Dog" episode in class was a HUGE thrill for us when I was a kid. Going to go see if I can find and watch some now and see what the appeal was.

Noel, you really brought home for me the feelings I think my 10 year old experiences in the morning before school. And I thank you for that, because I didn't have that before-school ME time experience, liked school a lot, and have worried that he's going to grow up to be a total slacker because of his daily moaning…
