Some of my favorite 'other' characters came from this show- Monk's nemesis Harold was fantastic, as was his annoying neighbor Kevin Dorfman.
The exact same thing happened to me with Sharona/Natalie.
I like her quite a lot as an actress, but (IMO) one of the rare casting mis-steps of the DCAU.
I definitely should have included him as well. Also, I will never forgive him for being on the field to film the ending for that stupid movie when the Sox finally won the World Series.
That's exactly it. They tried pushing him on us as the Big Bad for a stretch there (This, Zorro, No Escape) and it never really worked for me.
Not a movie, but a lot of those young Brits really have a tough time of it in Band of Brothers.
I have similar issues watching Monk, when all I can hear is what I like to call "Mournful Oboe".
