Someone upstream mentioned it and I thought it made sense- Dawn hasn't gotten a single mention in the show, so Benisoff and Weiss must have thought 2 swords will replace the cool factor, rather than shoehorning in some clunky as hell expositing between Howlin' and Ned-

Burnt his hand pretty badly torching the wight that almost took out Mormont back in the day.

The Sword of Early Afternoon?

That is fantastic.

I love Hanks' full-body jolt when he reacts.

How is such a thing even possible? It seems like a key component.

The word that always pops into my mind with strip clubs is transactional. It's a business transaction and anyone who thinks otherwise has been fooled up real good.

Pep: Don't you mean the virgin Connie Swayle?
Joe: (Raised eyebrow, lecherous look)
Pep: (Shocked reaction)

Who's scruffy-lookin'?

Chevy: "Thanks for the bruises and you can keep the stool samples"

Speaking totally out of ignorance, what's in the current Monday 8pm EST/EDT slot on The CW? Could it just slide over?

A partial list of great cinematic devices lost to the ages, please feel free to add on:
record scratch
typewriter clacking/return
frantic search for a payphone
not having cash in hand for something
car phone denoting extreme wealth
audio or video cassette tape becoming unspooled/ruined

Dennis: One word. Coffee. One
problem- where do you get it?

I have to say, that's one of the better crackpot internet GoT theories I've heard. Most of them are just people trying to think up the most outrageous thing possible in the hopes that Martin will arrive at the same thing and then they can say "See! I was right! Me so smart!"

Spies Like Us is legitimately funny, so many great exchanges in it.

Loose Cannons is definitely one of the weirder buddy-cop movies out there.

I took it as "Cis", like she was saying- "I see you and recognize that your gender identity aligns with what you were assigned at birth."

That's pretty great

Obviously the one on the right is the world at night, totally different.
