Bingo. And just because we're talking about this movie, I have to throw out another acknowledgement to how great Jackie Cooper was too, particular when he delivers this- "Lois, Clark Kent may seem like just a mild-mannered reporter, but
listen, not only does he know how to treat his editor-in-chief with the
proper

"We are in pursuit of a red… uh… car. License number…Eggplant Xerxes Crybaby Overbite Narwhal"

I like Henry Cavill quite a bit. I doubt he'll ever be given the opportunity to differentiate Clark and Superman the way Reeve did so perfectly though.

Christopher Reeve's performance will never be topped.

He's pretty much a real-life Ozymandias.

This is the first thing I always think of whenever he comes up.

Don't forget crabby old Russell Crowe- he's a Kiwi too.

Cliff Curtis, man of the world

I literally have never heard of this band until just yesterday when I was home sick burning through Documentary Now! and they turned up in the Blue Jean Committee episode. Twice in 2 days now. Tomorrow I'll probably pass them on the street.

Made great use of James B. Sikking too. I always liked him, I feel like he could(should?) have had a much bigger career as the stern authority figure type….

The first thing my from-Italy mother in law has done with any new house she's moved to has been to install combo bidet/toilets. Sometimes the old country has it right…

In the grand scheme I know we have it less bad because we don't have to sit 1/2 the time we're in there, but you'd still be surprised at the amount of guys that don't lift the toilet seat in a stall when they're just in there for #1. Another annoying one is when you can tell the guy next to you flushed by using his

I'd love if someone can jump in here and tell me if things have changed, but one of my enduring memories of my trip to Texas in high school was the highway rest stops having nothing at all for dividers- Just…a room with toilets lined up on one side, urinals on the other. This was on the loooong drive to San Antonio if

"Fer washin' yer backside, right??"

ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS—EXCEPT EUROPA

I think it holds up very well, it's a great cop/corruption that goes way up story that happens to be set in that same type of grimy workmanlike future of Aliens.

Also Tuvok (Tim something?) as the black Russian

Arye Gross

I wish I could upvote this a bunch more.

Weren't John Travolta and Kelly Preston in this too?
