Yeah I just gave it a spin, about 2/3 of it I actively disliked, the other third was stuff that was ok, but really just made me want to go dig out Silent Alarm and Weekend in the City so I could listen to this band when its firing on all cylinders.

That does sound pretty great. I think Im going to check out the Dark Tower episode at least. Thanks!

I like House to Astonish a lot. Its hosted by Paul O'Brian and Al Kennedy, they're both guys who are known for being reasonably intelligent while talking about comics. It mostly focuses on the publishers you mentioned, though they do often branch out into titles that are a bit more obscure (or at least obscure to fans

I tend to really enjoy the intro and outro segments, and the audible ads, but find the actual meat and bones of the podcast to be extremely hit or miss. Its a fun enough ishow that I check it out every week, but I don't always make it through entire episodes. I think a lot of it has to do with who their guest(s) are

I expect a guy who knows not to make Batman wet himself during one of the best moments from Year One, duh. Or at all, for that matter.

Those wrestling questions were hilarious. Bangers & Mash, and Ed the Duck just killed me.

That was exactly what I thought when I saw Smith had a Batman podcast. That guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the character ever again.

I'd never heard of it before it joined up with Max Fun. I listened to the "clip show" episode, and really liked it, but was kind of confused as well. All three stories ended so abruptly. The one about Marconi especially seemed to be building to some kind of grand conclusion, when he suddenly just stopped talking. I

Can someone give me a little history on the Wilford Brimley GAWDAMOOT? I haven't seen a Brimley movie since I was a kid. Does he really talk like that, or is this an instance of a small joke that's grown into half of the bit over time?

I go back and forth on which one I like better though they're both among my favorite podcasts. I tend to mostly agree with @blooptaabi:disqus : its a snobs vs slobs type scenario.
