The Garfield question and sexy cat voices were both some of the best goofs they've ever done, which is good because I think otherwise the episode was kind of a drag. That question about the road trip seemed to go on for like half the episode. Its really awesome that they're dedicated enough to do a show right after

I thought the whole thing was hilarious. Its great when he tears into the audience for no damn reason. When they actually give him an excuse to do it its kind of amazing.

I had the same problem. Their voices sounded similar, and as Pally got more and more out of character it became even harder to tell them apart. Still a really funny episode though.

Its pretty hard for me to keep up with current podcasts, let alone go back to old ones, so there's very few that I've relistened to. The only ones that come to mind are a few episodes of How Did This Get Made. It was the first podcast I ever listened to, and their backlog at the time was still pretty small, so once

I think Prisoners of Love is a great way to get introduced to them. Two cd's worth of songs, picked from all over their career, there isn't a bad song in the bunch. Best Of's  are usually kind of a crappy way to get into a band, but YLT, as a band that's been around forever, and has like a dozen different releases at

And now having listened to a couple of episodes I can say that Answer Me This is definitely not for me. Too many jingles and songs, production that sounds too much like a radio show, and the sharp editing that the review cites as a strength is the opposite for me. Its good to edit the rough edges away from a podcast,

This was the second week in a row that Greg Proops teased that question about Pete Rose. I'm not honestly expecting the 10 hour, Dan Carlin-like series of episodes he joked about needing to properly explore the question, but as a Cincinnati native who worshiped Pete Rose as a kid, I wouldn't mind it if he went ahead

I've been listening to it for the past month or two, and its been sort of ok. There was an episode with Paul F. and Bobcat Goldthwait that I enjoyed, and I liked the Fred Savage episode, even though it didn't get too well received here. The rest of them have been pretty unremarkable, with long stretches of boring to

I feel like the last few episodes of JJHO have been weak, but they had redeeming qualities. His rendition of Bitchin Camaro, his impersonation of Car Talk, and the panini story all made me glad I took the time to listen, even if the actual cases themselves weren't all that great.

@avclub-d542a3419c3ad57206a96bcc86155ebc:disqus Seconded. One of my all time favorite episodes was Cop and a Half, simply because they seemed to go from despising the kid in that movie to despising all family/children's movies ever. Anything that makes them that unhappy is automatically pretty hilarious.
