The more I see of her, the more I like her. The fighting and bickering those two do (and I don't feel like there's been an excessive amount of it) makes a lot of sense to me, given the career she gave up so he could go be a handyman on a space station out in the middle of nowhere. I haven't seen ahead though, maybe

I really enjoyed the movie when I was a kid, and I've always been curious about the show. But there were so many television series, and they always looked kinda sorta low rent, that it seemed like more trouble than it was worth to get into any of the shows. Is it worth all the work? Is there a good place to start?

I don't know, I was mainly just thinking of aliens and people we've seen so far. I haven't watched DS9 since it was first broadcast, and I can barely remember what she looks like. But now I'm really looking forward to her showing up.

I know rank in Starfleet and its equivalent in the actual military has been discussed here in the past, and the explanation I remember for O'Brian is that while technically most everyone outranks him, in practice he's actually one of the top people on the station, and an officer actually trying to give him orders may

Why would you leave Keiko and Molly on the station at all if that was happening? Feed O'Brian some bullshit story about her mom back on earth being sick or something, and get them off the station until the situation blows over. But whatever you do, don't leave the five year old alone in an apartment with the possibly

As a fan of the goofy haired/headed aliens that keep popping up in DS9, I have to say that the "Armageddon" aliens' hair was just amazing. Probably my fourth favorite goofy aliens of the series, following closely behind the background aliens that look like they have coffee tables strapped to their heads, the alien

I enjoyed the finale to Batman: Brave and the Bold. All sorts of jokes and gags about how a show should bow out before it starts making stupid jump the shark type decisions, and then that awesome cast party at the end of the episode. It was a great send off to the show that played to the things that made BTBATB so fun

SPOILERS

The moment where Superman tried to save the Kroloteans from the bomb was the first time in the entire run of the series where I felt that he really acted like Superman, and not like just another guy in a cape.

I lost track of Cornershop after Handcream For A Generation. On the one hand I'm glad to find out they've built up a bit of a backlog for me to check out. On the other hand, I'm sorry to hear that this one isn't all that great. Has anyone heard the other two releases? How do they hold up?

To be fair, DC has only hit that reset button four times in like 75 years of publishing.

I'm not such a fan of the Ultimate Spider-man comic version. On its own its a good story, but I always feel like tying a villain into the hero's origin is a lazy way to up the stakes for said villain. When you take into account that the Ultimate versions of Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, and Doc Ock are all already tied

I don't think its anywhere near the level of DCAU, but then again, what is? Its a fun show. Bumpy and uneven in places, but still very much worth the time to watch.

The exposition filled dialogue was my only problem with this episode. Meagan actually started a speech with "As you all know…" which is such a nails on the chalkboard type thing for me. If they all already know, then why are you talking about it? Oh yeah, because the writer couldn't be bothered to come up with a less

There's nothing wrong with using D-List characters if its done well. That sequence with Batroc was a lot of fun, and was there to set up the episode's main plot anyway. That's a fine way to use a small stakes villain.

This week's We Hate Movies was great. The Bruce Dern voices, the social worker who was annoyed/bored with Lelee Sobieski, the Toonces references, it was a really fun episode.

I can remember individual goofs and bits they've done recently that I've liked a lot (The Rock vs Cena Yahoo question, the thing about the little kids at Mcdonalds, does anyone remember what episodes those were?) but one episode they did recently that I liked a lot was Episode 90: Dworp.

A few questions/comments regarding this week's episodes:

I liked that scene between Keiko and Miles a lot. I would even go so far as to say Keiko is one of the very few good things in Rivals. When Miles is first freaking out about Bashir, she does a really good job of trying to talk sense into him without being as unlikable as she's often accused of being. And in that

It'll be interesting to see how they handle Darkseid in this series, just in terms of showing an actual fight. Even with all the new members on the team, YJ would be severely outmuscled in a fight with Darkseid. I guess they could do some kind of team up with the League to fight him, but that feels like a cop out:
