I kept thinking during that last scene inside the space ship that he could have done a lot more damage by turning into and elephant or a rhino and just charging through whatever got in his way. I think it would've made for a more exciting visual, too. I'm sure there's production related reasons for why they only had

Alan Moore is supposed to have come up with an actual Rannian language for a Swamp Thing story he wrote that featured Adam Strange. If he actually did take the time to work out the entire language no one else has done anything with it since then. I couldn't say if what we heard on this episode has any resemblance to

I'm usually one of the people complaining about How Did This Get Made and singing the praises of WHM and Flop House, but I thought this week's episode was actually alright. There was no screaming, the hosts didn't talk over each other too much, and I can even forgive the fact that they barely summarized the plot to

I started listening to it when podmass wrote it up a while back. I was kind of listening to an episode here and there every week or so, but then this week I hit the Punic Wars episodes and suddenly this show just became AWESOME. I can't get enough of this show. Sad to hear its more or less done, even if that ending is

Same here, I seriously doubt I would ever have given hip hop a fair shake if not for the Beastie Boys. Jesus, this is awful news.

I think once you get past 1a and 1b you can kind of go in whatever direction you want, but I agree those are the two to start with. That's a hell of a one-two punch.

Just another vote for regular coverage of this show. Or maybe a superhero block (YJ, GL, Avengers, and USM? Am I forgetting any other super hero shows that are on at the moment)? I'd wager these shows have quite a bit of overlap in audience.

The fact that Vandal Savage was the season's big bad was a huge letdown for me. I really felt robbed when I realized I was watching a Starro story that wasn't going to pay off with a bunch of mind controlled super heroes with creepy one eyed face huggers grafted onto their heads. Starro manipulating the Light to get

All the pairing up made sense to me. Teenagers are gonna hook up, especially if they're in the kind of perfect physical shape that super heroes are usually shown as being in. But it was still pretty boring to watch. I'd be happy if they shifted some of the romance plots into the background.

Just watch the last couple of episodes of the first season. You'll get pretty caught up on the state of the team before the 5 year jump, and you'll get to see (SPOILER I GUESS?) Young Justice vs. Justice League, which is great fun.

Yeah, I actually stopped listening to IOT because the philosophy and science eps were killing my enthusiasm for the history ones. Now I can just get all history all the time. Thanks @avclub-ab05c0c39b83be3c42373db54c0263ab:disqus

I haven't gotten to the point where I'm unsubscribing, but I have lost a lot of my enthusiasm for the show. Its a little too formulaic at this point. Bringing in an occasional guest, or blasphemy of blasphemies, talking to each other in a non-snack related format every now and then, would probably give the guys some

I thought he was some kind of radio person. They did an episode with him for the MaxFun Drive, and they kept talking about his work in radio.

Yeah I was wondering what happened to that show. I had just started listening to it when it went on hiatus or whatever. I'm really glad its back though, if only so I can hear Sydney give us the dish. Go on girl, dish!

Belushi will always be my favorite, but the Stallone and Paulie voices from this episode were some of their best.

GOLD STAR CHILI 4 LIFE, BITCHEZ!!!!!!!!!!!

I just started listening to it a couple of weeks ago, but I already love it. That dead pan delivery they have while saying the most filthy/ridiculous things just kills me. The abortion actress and the Gibson & Gibson bit were both highlights for me this week.

I actually kept thinking during this episode that they should have just brought one of the Mcelroy's on to the show as an "expert witness" or whatever.

It definitely felt like a misfire. Technical issues, a dispute that wasn't really all that clear, Hodgman admitting right off the bat that he really didn't know a whole lot about the subject at hand, and the fact that the guests were disputing something that happened a million years ago that they both only kinda sorta

Pro's of a job with the GCPD: get to watch cartoons on company time, get to hang out with Batman, if you're crooked there's plenty of opportunity to make some extra money.
