Which half of CopCop is too old for this shit?
Which half of CopCop is too old for this shit?
How awesome was that shot of Odo halfway disguised as a wall? With just part of his body transformed? I think that was my favorite use of his shapeshifting powers in the series so far. No shoe string budget morphing effects, no disguising himself as a cup or a mouse, just half wall, half man, all space-cop.
That's a pretty bad flub to make actually, given that a lot of dialogue was spent on Verak specifically instructing his team to put on the comm badges they were taking from Sisko and company. That would have made it incredibly easy to find them on the station's scanners.
Liked for the #DramaSpaceNine
If nothing else, that scene between O'Brien and his wife was good for one thing: the rest of the Federation officers are hanging around because they actually care about Bajor, or they don't want to see their mission fail, or they have personal ties to individual Bajorans. But as O'Brien tells Keiko, he just doesn't…
I had pretty much assumed that this was the case, but you're right, they really should have spelled it out. It would have given that scene with the Bajoran ministers some actual weight. The Circle isn't just buying weapons from someone who bought them from someone else, they're actually doing exactly what the…
I agree with @jerodast:disqus It looks questionable on paper, but its such a common mispronunciation that I think we can give it a pass.
Does anyone remember that Calvin & Hobbes strip where Calvin wonders about the first person to ever see milk come out of a cow's udders and wonder if it would be a good thing to drink? A totally normal thing that everyone does, but there must have been something really weird going on in the head of the first person to…
Not just Quark but Verad and Mareel as well. That last scene gives no indication of what consequences, if any, await those two after Verad recovers. The whole time Sisko was trying to get Mareel to turn on Verad Dax I kept wondering why she didn't point out that no matter what Verad had become, he was still better…
And having tried it, I can say in all honesty that I liked it ok.
Small business owners who don't have a regularly scheduled ups/fed ex pick up? That's all I can think of. It does seem hard to believe that there's that many people who need this service.
Thirded, I would gladly listen to more Alton Brown. It takes some real chops to make canning of all things actually seem pretty interesting.
You've sold me sir/madam, I'm going to check it out.
I am always mystified by the complaining about Oliver's celebrity stories. They last all of 20 seconds and are usually good for at least a small laugh.
Truckin and fuckin and the discussion of the giant eagle that eats cities was fantastic. I really don't understand why they don't cover MBMBaM. Its a consistently funny show that isn't part of the LA comedy scene that half the commenters here (myself included) love to complain about.
Yeah, MBMBAM and Flop House are probably my two favorites as well. The Flop House is a grower, but worth getting into.
This was definitely a great one. Even the audible ad got a genuine laugh when Stephen jumped in to the middle of it. I love when they watch Jim Belushi movies, that voice they do when they're making fun of him is hilarious.
@avclub-b9a25e422ba96f7572089a00b838c3f8:disqus That was about the same time I checked out. The Ultimate line sort of gradually went from the home of absolute A-list talent to a place for guys like Robert Kirkman (as awesome as Walking Dead is, people have forgotten about all his Marvel work for a reason). The decline…
Years and years of sales data from comic shops says no, not really. There might be a bump here and there, but its almost never sustained. And Marvel's recent sales make even that bump questionable. Actual bookstores might see an increase in graphic novels and trade paperbacks around the time of a movie's release, but…
Michael Caine as Mary Jane was a strange, and strangely erotic, bit of casting.
