That can't be right. There's only rain down in Africa. I know. I miss it deeply.

I was a fan of Karen Gillan on Doctor Who. But her attempt at an American Accent, at least in the Pilot, was atrocious. It was so awkward, that it kept taking me out of the show. Why couldn't they have made her a Scottish transplant or just hire an American actress?

Yeah…missing that kind of negates any point that the reviewer makes throughout the article.

Theaters only retain a percentage of their ticket sales — the rest goes back to the studio. On major movies, the theaters only retain something like 10% of the sales during the first two weeks of release (with the retainage increasing over time, i.e., as ticket sales drop.)

No. I mean 1:2 — a $2 bet nets you a $1 return.

Odds that the "London" Bridge actually being attacked is the Tower Bridge — 1:2.

Of course they waited until Rodney Dangerfield was dead before making a sequel to Easy Money. He just can't get no respect.

How did it possibly take you this long to realize this incontrovertible fact. Real Genius is head and shoulders above any other teen comedy from the 80s.

Obviously, Michonne get's trapped with Jamie Lane in Uncle Tom's Cabin at some point.

Wait…so you are telling me that Dougray Scott and Hugh Jackman are different people? Outlandish!

Achtung Baby is a fantastic album that had a significant impact on the world pop music. One of the most important albums of the 90s.

I'm going to the Westbury show on Thursday. Got the tickets to see Dawes (my interest in Oberst has waned as I've grown older), but reading about the new album has piqued my interest.

The best season is obviously season 5. When they revealed that President Logan was involved, it was mind-blowing.

I've been rewatching the series over the past year. At one point towards the end of Season 4, they are trying to find a mercenary (Mandy maybe?) they've got trapped inside an apartment complex.

The significant paradox is Rose saving her father. With her father alive, Rose's entire history has now changed, and it's a likely bet that Rose would either (a) never meet the Doctor, or (b) not have gone with the Doctor. If Rose doesn't meet the Doctor, than she can never go back to save her father, so her father

Until reading this article, I always thought the movie was called "Tucker and Dale are Evil." I still find my title to be better as it is ironic and preserves the "twist".

Most egregious example of this I ever witnessed was a family with young children going to see Black Hawk Down. It's one thing to bring kids to a horror movie, its quite another to bring them to a hyper-realistic, uber-violent war movie. That's the type of thing that scars children for life.

I read that as Orlando Jones playing a Celebrity sneaker designer, which just sounds awesome. Orlando Bloom…not so much.
"Hey, Orlando, those are great sneakers, I really love the use of beige. But, and I'm just spitballing here, maybe try a second color?"

Dorothy Tity Boi IS A SAINT! A SAINT!

Wondering if the January numbers are artificially inflated by Oscar contenders that receive an extremely limited release in December but go wide release in January?
