Don't forget to add T.Rex's "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" to the '60s mix.

TV Tropes: giving a name to all that stuff you've noticed over the years.
Thoughts
I think we can bet on Shirin consistently sending down some sort of outer wear with a dress. Tally: 1 capelet, 1 coat.
Include Suede and I'm sold.
I thought it was that Betty had baby brain and her short-term memory was shot from that.
@PG I had heard the five seasons thing as well, though I can't remember where. I'd also heard that there isn't any new equipment in the office because they want everything to look aged to show the passage of time.
I liked that she was ballsy enough to take his hamburger out of his hand for a bite. Yet another mask (or aspect of one).
Pretty sure it was old folks…
What's next
A vampire-themed chastity belt endorsed by the author herself?
Cool
I haven't seen any of the Hostel films, but I saw Inglourious Basterds last week, and loved his performance.
I'm also going to pass this interview along to my friends that like Hannah Montana in hopes that it'll make them see Inglourious Basterds.
Pete
For the first two seasons, Pete was the guy I loved to hate (or just hate on his bad decisions). I was just exasperated by his actions and wanted him to shape up.
@hatin I had a similar experience. I'm staying at my grandparents' house, and my grandpa was in the room with me for the entire episode (and looked up from his newspaper at that scene). His only remark at the end was, "well that was somethin' else." So I'm not sure what remarks will accompany next week's episode.
I think Ken will end up getting the sole position because since he's so easygoing he'd be able to ingratiate himself with clients a lot easier and guarantee the sale. Pete would just crack under the pressure.
Visual Art/Writing Collaboration
I'd love to see Jenny Lumet (wrote "Rachel Getting Married") and visual artist Kara Walker (creates panoramic scenes out of cut-outs) collaborate on some project. I don't know what it would be, except for all kinds of awesome.
I've noticed that they've rebranded themselves as "story matters here" instead of "American Movie Classics" that had been the previous slogan. Evidently they caught on that the movies they showed were stretching the definition of "classic."
I think its original working title was "Girl Gives Birth to Prom Date," which should tip you off to the script's original intent.
In honor of that news
I'm listening to "Larger than Life."
This is good for the simple fact that we need more music for when my friends and I have our 90s-pop dance parties.
No, it's totally a gang. When I toured a new high school for placement the following year, just about all the girls introduced themselves by telling me, "Hey I'm (whoever) and I LOVE the Backstreet Boys!" Or NSync.
But still. You had to pick a side.
They generally have one about once a month, but they'll be aired in chunks out of order. Last month was the first half on season 1, right now it's the second half of season 3, and next month it'll be the the first half of season 2 (so far my favorite season).
I mark this on my calendar.
@Park That's basically what I'm…
Awesome
Great interview. This, along with the Doctor Who marathon on Sci Fi today, has made my day.
I'm still relatively new to Who, and I can't wait to get more into it to learn the hallmarks of Davies' style.
