Why
does it seem like every British series listed here is set in the UK? What's its American equivalent?

XXOO?
Any Upper-East-Sider worth his Brooks Brothers shirt would know that Gossip Girl signs off "XOXO".

Yeah, Peggy, sorry, but you got what I meant.

Pete
I didn't think Pete was "disappointed" to see Betty all dolled up. I read it as that he was seeing her in a new, attractive light, and because of her new look, she bagged the biggest gun in the room (if you will). I think he was just jealous to see how high up the food chain she could attract.

After a friend of mine and I both had to read A Separate Peace, he said, "Is it just me, or is that big tree branch just one big gay metaphor?"
It wasn't just him.

Yes.

For some reason, she looked similar to Roger's daughter, seen in the previous episode. But I highly doubt it is.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the music during the march of the clones was from The Nutcracker. It makes sense, since they were talking about "Christmas presents".

When the new girl dismissed Fred after his zipper rendition of Mozart, her looking away could've been a "sweet and innocent" thing, another way to hook the guys. Southern women know their wiles.

Decolletage is French, and still used (at least in the fashion world).

Great List
This is one of the few lists in awhile that I've recognized the majority of the films, and, for the first time, have seen a substantial portion of them (about 1/3). So thanks for making me feel smart today.

I also like the 1999 version, glad to see it's getting some love.

Question Mark
I love that when Tim asked the designers why they were still sewing, he felt the need to add "question mark" at the end, since he felt that they wouldn't be able to recognize it as a question otherwise. Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me with this bunch.

As the judges said, Kelli designs for herself, not for parameters.

Dramalicious
was Blayne's "licious" word of the week.

Yes yes yes, that is the only thing I can focus on whenever he's onscreen. Anyone know his name?

Betty
I don't think Betty rebuffed Arthur "too meekly" at all. They're clearly setting them up to cheat on their significant others. (I predict we'll see that the next time there's an extended focus on Betty at the stables.) Remember in the first episode of this season, when she and her friend were talking about him

Brock in the airport
When Brock was sitting in the airport, he was sitting next to a heavy-set lady with large glasses. I swear she was in "Trial of the Monarch", and when offered Pez, says she thinks they "taste like soap". Anyone else notice this, or am I completely off?

Licious
As much as Blayne says he's obsessed with tanning, he's more obsessed with adding "-licious" to every word. Is nobody else finding this as annoying as I am? Every episode for me has turned into "spot where Blayne says/writes something with -licious tacked onto the end of it". So far, there's been "girlicious",

History
I'm really liking the clear references to historical events this season. Last season, I had some trouble telling exactly when certain events had occurred and how much time had elapsed between them. But this is great, I hope they keep up the historical allusions.
