Yeah- he got his start in bath houses too.
Fellated his way right to the top.

Worst song ever about how it sucks to be a rock star:
Turn the Page.
Even thinking about Bob Seger makes me want to choke somebody…
I don't own The Wall, but it's got some good tunes.
I've got a sudden burning desire to see if my local planetarium has laser light shows.
Now if I could only scrounge up some acid…
damn- I'd love to see Doc Watson…
Bummer.
Its 'get while the gettin's good' with these old timers now- wish I got a chance to see Mr. Louvin live.
Ralph Stanley's comin' to town in a few weeks- it's $40 a ticket, but shit man- the clock's tickin' on that guy, too…
I also don't think you can really look at escape fantasies like this realistically- I don't think any of us would really like to see people shot down in the street in real life, but it makes for good watchin'…
I think you CAN chalk it up to 'it was another era', look at the other hugely popular comedies and you'll find it's fairly troubling in a lot of ways.
Eddie Murphy's Delirious comes to mind…
I love flares- they accentuate the flow of the body. Those tapered jeans make everyone look like they got birdy ankles and clownshoes.
Blind Melon had some killer tunes.
There was some really good stuff put out that year- Mr. Bungle's 'Califonia' comes to mind…
Haha- oh, THAT 1999…
Yikes.
AIC always had a sweet acousticish sound- Sap was a killer album.
Early to mid nineties fashion was pure shit- huge t-shirts with sleeves that came down to the elbow, tucked in and bloused out, shorts that were high waisted and came down to right above the knee- I grew up in Florida and that's no way fer a purty girl to dress!
They all looked like shapeless shmoos…
If you look at the…
She was FRAMED!
She never does nothin' wrong, but everytime, she gets the blame!
She's been FRAMED!
Awesome.
I like listening to music in unfamiliar languages- that way, the song's not ruined by shitty lyrics.
Yikes.
You've ruined the act, Gob…
I still listen to the HELL outta the early REM albums- granted, I didn't listen to them when they came out- my brother was into them, and, by the laws of close siblings, I had to hate them. That turned around when I got to college- got into a lot of his stuff. Zeppelin and REM were at the top of the list.
Kis in the Hall are still gold- I was just watching the "He's hip! He's cool! He's 45!" bit and they are funnier now that I'm grizzled than when I was a youngun.
