I'm always struck by the quality of color in his strips- I wonder how the color looked in the newspapers. I can't imagine any coloration could be worse than contemporary comix- now THAT'S what I call a hundred years of progress!

I've only seen Lyonel Feininger's paintings (big fan)- didn't know he rocked the comix…
The Fogg Museum has one of my favorite Feiningers- I forget the name, but it truly kicks ass.

The dialogue was awesome (granted I saw it many times in the 80's on HBO and haven't since then) But I recall it being WAY over the top- and the guy who drinks whatever chemicals on hand was great-
's got some KICK!

A bunch of my friends went to see it this weekend and the verdict was 5-1 that it sucked…
I'll still prolly see it, but my expecations are low.

The orginal Arthur was just terrible. Drop Dead Fred (even with stone fox Phoebe Cates ) was sucky as well.

I caught up with this show when I saw that all the episodes were on Hulu.
I had seen the movie first and wasn't expecting much.
