Oh the woes of being a well educated, white woman

I've never seen No Country for Old Men. Is it similar tonally to Zodiac?

Both Drive and Contagion had amazing scores. Drive more so in my opinion but immediately after seeing both films the first thing I thought was the score was memorable. I've seen The Lincoln Lawyer too and its not a bad movie but I don't remember a thing about the score.

Match Point was pretty great but I don't know if that qualifies as recent

    It was just a pilot

Rihanna admitted to slapping him and gouging out his eyes and snooping through his personal phone according to the report as well.

    No restraining order anymore

Come on. This is the internet. If you make a mistake once you will never be forgiven

His latest album had the 2nd highest first week album sales of 2011. And debuted #1

I don't think Brown is that much of a sell (and I have a favorable opinion of him in general). He isn't going to sell anymore downloads than say a song featuring Drake or someone of a similar fame level. And its going to get unbelievably negative publicity. And most of Chris Brown's hardcore fans seem to hate Rihanna.

His acting is honestly not that bad. Its kind of endearing.

Doesn't seem believable. Why exactly would Chris Brown have to be "picking up" women? He is Chris Brown. Dude can have more or less his choice of his attractive female fans.

It is hard to defend but you have to realize that is a summary of the allegations against him. Not necessarily the truth. I am sure Brown would have a very different recollections of events.

I'm not standing up for him because he allegedly beat a woman (singular).. He served his time. His alleged victim forgave him. He was 19 years old when the incident occurred. I (Iike most people have) am giving him a second chance and the benefit of the doubt.

I don't even know what the tweet has to do with domestic violence. Its just telling his haters to fuck off. Its not necessarily tied to the DV case. He plead guilty and served his community service. And I am sure he regrets it. Why would he not? Its completely messed up his life.

Lets all gang up on some kid who made a dumb mistake and served his time. Never forgive. Never forget. There are no second chances in America.

Agent or Cop or Train Operator

With all due respect I am defending him on a more or less anonymous forum. My defense has hardly been vigorous. All I have complained about is the double standard. Brown is treated far harsher than any other famous person. And for the record I am not really a miserable person. I'm not a violent person at all and have

My point was more about the lack of consistency. Brown is basically the only guy who people rage about. There are plenty of people with criminal backgrounds that are popular/successful with no controversy. Many guilty of worse crimes.
