The great thing about B:BatB is that it's a marvelous contrast from the current movie series. As bad as my 5 YO son wants to watch 'Dark Knight' (he caught the 'transporting Harvey Dent chase scene' and, well, it IS a pretty cool scene…) I'm not going to let him watch that movie. But B:BatB is perfect Batman-fodder

@ManOWar - You demonstrate too damn much pop culture savvy to be a true ManOWar fan.

Sounds like they kept it running right up to the very last possible moment. That's commendable. The real bummer here is, if magazines cannot even exist as boutique items (which all small interest music mags are, in a way) then they're are certainly done for. But I'm sure most of you don't care.

That'd be nifty!

I was just saying all of this! Wow! It's rare I agree with the internet.

Anyway, Chiklis played Ben Grimm and was one of the few things those movies got right. What kills me is, they are are 'rebooting' it but still not even attempting to have it dovetail with Marvels Cinematic Universe. Yea, I know it's a separate company but it would likely help the business outcomes for all parties

@ The No-Eyebrows Cowboy - I mentioned this back when Corrigan was interviewed but I want to state it here as well, as a testament to Corrigan's acting prowess: I actually thought Gallo had hired a special-needs actor, so convinced was I that he was an ugly retard.

@Chico von Guacamole - EVERYBODY has a buddy with a show on KDHX.

@ Captain Rebound - Even though the landscape in The Road was indeed fascinating, it was fascinating for the exact opposite reasons for which outer space was fascinating in 2001. Easy to admire a spaceship silently cruising in on Jupiter. Harder to admire an earthscape ravaged by desolation, most likely the result of

@ Anywhere I lay my head - I agree about nazi girlfriend. She's very hot. She has an interesting character moment in the movie when Derek has the big showdown with the rest of the nazis at the party. I believe the gun has been pulled but is not yet in Derek's possession (I think, kinda doesn't matter). It's a

Oh, and there was an update in the early 90s that I haven't seen but I hear wasn't bad.

'Dark Shadows' was a kooky horror soap opera from the the late 60s/early 70s that was pretty cool. It had a sub-Doctor Who budget but that was part of the fun. 'Dead bodies' would get up and walk off set when thought they were off camera even… though they weren't off camera. My PBS station used to repeat it in the mid

'It is sad. If she'd quit after Whip-Smart she'd have been a legend. '

… and fuck. They don't make them like him anymore. Those 'Letterman' appearances happened when I was in middle school and we would always talk about him the next day. In high school I started reading the comic and followed him off and on all the way through that first mini-series he did with DC. Just loved him and

Mickey Rooney as "Bill"
I can't believe she mentioned the "Bill" movie!!! There was a series of them and, man, we used to laaaaaugh a those movies something terrible when I was in grade school. We'd go whole days talking in a Bill-voice.

Being a teen in the 80s, you'd stare the back of the Possessed "Seven Churches" LP or the first Slayer LP with Hanneman appearing to play his guitar with an inverted cross and you'd think "OF COURSE these guys mean it. Why would you fake THAT?!?" But, they DID fake it. And I find that odd. But the European bands? I
