Wow, thanks. I always liked when newcomers commented on B5 and Farscape, so I thought I'd return the favor here. Most everyone is being really good about marking spoilers, so I'm enjoying discovering the show, jotting down what I think of episodes, and then seeing what fans have to say.

The Other! Unpack! My god, I've traveled back in time 16 years to a graduate seminar. I hope the show has a paradigm shift before it's done.

One would also think that, after her disappearance, they'd plaster her photo all over the fleet, making it harder for other Sixes to sneak around. Same with Doral.

Also! Sonia, dig the parallel you drew between Starbuck/ship and Six/diplomat. I'm getting the sense that human-machine, uh, interactions will be a key part of the show moving forward, and they're laying groundwork. Sharon is clearly trying to seduce Helo, and Head Six isn't exactly subtle about her intentions. …

NEWBIE NOTES Ixnay on the oilerspay

If memory serves (and it's been a loooong time since I read them), I think the Lensman books have some multilevel battles like that, with the ship weapons and individual minds fighting it out simultaneously.

Great maker, how could it have slipped my mind that G'Kar died with Londo? And I even read the Centauri Prime books. Gah.
