I remember liking Home on the Remains when it first aired and I could be surprised by the plot twists and marvel at the — what are they, Cajun? — accents on the Budong. But it doesn't have much rewatch value.
Not only does Dream A Little Dream fill in a gap that didn't need to be filled in at this point in the season, it doesn't do so effectively. It seems like Zhaan was already losing her grip before the arrest, being all panicky and aggressive. Trying to choke the lawyer instead of waiting and trying to think or talk…
G'Kar, Garak, and Kassidy Yates must have had the same lawyer.
You just know Corwin spent his off-hours commenting on Space A.V. Club.

It struck me on this rewatch that the Code-7R business seems like the war council was being more secretive than it needed to be. There are tons of reasons for the station commender to call the head of security and say "I need to see you in my office right now." So why come up with this code phrase that will only…

The Pak'ma'ra have always got a stew going. Unless they get an endorsement deal from Burger King, of course.
Don't let Thomas near the Coke!
Thanks for the Deep Thoughts, everybody (seriously!). I wasn't necessarily trying to criticize B5, just to come to terms with a show that was set up as Space U.N. (that's what I meant about core message, @avclub-7e889e891520b7c5763271f21d3261b9:disqus) focusing so much on wars.

OK, so I've thought about this before and this week's DS9 had something similar, so this is as good a time as any to bring it up. What do folks think about the intro voiceover that describes "our best chance for victory" as something greater than "our last, best hope for peace"? DS9 had Sisko saying "We’re losing…
Where'e the guy who always wants to bring up Lexx? This is a perfect set-up.
CREC it up!
Lumburgh fucked her! Well, her previous host…
And then the post horn and sworn to secrecy lines keep the reference going. Brilliant.
The Grouch stay The Grouch.
