Lots of good looking people go through an awkward stage - I think teenage Don is perfectly believable and it adds something to the story that he might not have been so great looking at the time he was sexually coming-of-age.

Pete has always been a sleaze ball.
Great episode - at least an A- if not an "A".
Aw gee, I thought this was going to be a story about FOX owner Rupert Murdoch finally being sentenced to jail time for his wire-tapping shennanigans in the UK.
I liked it.
This may have been the worst Modern Family episode I have seen. Compared to most other sitcoms on TV, it still was pretty good, but still, it fell short of its usual fairly high standards.
I presume they are trying to avoid being too 'meta'. It would take viewers out of the reality of Jay's character.
Lily Tomlin used to have some character I can't remember anymore that she played in a blond wig (some kind of high-class matron I think) - and darned if Modern Family's Lilly isn't a dead ringer for her in that picture.
I would agree with some others here - I generally love this show but this episode was really off
I don't know if you work on the show or what - but that analysis seems really spot on.
You know, the Shakespeare deniers say he could not have written all those great plays because he was a commoner without a college education.
This is the first of the new Community's I've seen and I gotta say, it's sort of like Gilmore Girls all over again. I can't say it's bad but it has an unsettling feeling of being 'off'. It's unfortunate because the actors are all so good.
Why does Andy have to be either a hero or a villain?
That is really well said.
There was a small but very funny MILF plotline on Suburgatory this past week.
"Flabby" is a great word for this episode - it didn't hold together really well but there were many great moments into it.
Like I said, if somebody can present me with a upper/lower class English romance that does not pointedly end badly I'd be interested to see it.
My thoughts on this show:
