Did "Meshes of the Afternoon" make the top 50?

Did "Meshes of the Afternoon" make the top 50?

For many years Children of Paradise was my favorite film of all time.

Not terrible, but too precious and cutesy for my taste.

I love Days of Heaven and Tree of Life, but I'm surprised I am not seeing more mention of Badlands in the comments section.

Would you agree Lawrence of Arabia should ONLY be seen on a big screen?

Spirited Away is pretty good, but there is a similar and to me far superior anime film from the 80's usually given the English title "A Night on the Intergalactic Railroad" that is really far superior.

I can't stand most Jean Renoir films, the only one I come close to liking is Grand Illusion.

Props for recognizing the greatness that is "Shop Around the Corner"

They were absolutely NOT "state of the art"

I have some issues with Metropolis, but the sets are great and think all the FX work very well within the overall look of the film.

I think the popularity of "The Searchers" is based on the extremely powerful way John Wayne defined the idea of masculinity for many generations of American men (and I guess judging by the
international S&S poll - men around the world).

My nominee for best classic western is "My Darling Clementine". "Valance" is a great story and a great iconic role for Wayne, but it is critically compromised by casting  clearly middle aged Jimmy Stewart as a young guy  20's (I mean REALLY John Ford, WTF?)
