I think this was one of Mad Men's best episode, yeah the pitching was great, and so was everything else.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion  - there is so much going on in this episode they might not have had time to fit in Peggy telling Ken about her talk with Freddy and/or that she was thinking of leaving or was leaving.
