The one that most immediately comes to mind for me is the climatic monstrosity in the movie "Fame" - it not only does not live up to the hype - it is embarrassingly, nightmarishingly awful.

I liked it - thought Cumberbatch especially had some amazingly great 'acting' moments. Most of the fun in these shows are the Holmes/Watson chemistry and these guys really have that - so everything else is secondary.

Even though Depp's characters for Burton all share a certain feminine non-macho quality, I would argue they are all very different characters with an extremely specific set of mannerisms.

I can't even begin to express how much I hate Mars Attacks.

I can't stand Scotty just as I don't much care for, say, Tennessee Ernie Ford. Just not 'into' that kind of deep, baritone voice.

Kris is a very different kind of singer than Phillip.

I don't see that at all.

I don't really 'like' Jessica but I do think in this case her being 16 is a satisfactory excuse as to her lack of a musical identity.

What do you mean you're 'not sure'? Either you feel it or you don't.

I think you are REALLY seeing 'early' Tim Burton through rose-colored glasses.

I liked the season with David Cook best, which one was that?

I can't imagine ever voting in any reality show, even "So you Think You Can Dance" which I think is a much better show.

To criticize Joshua for being 'too emotional' or 'melodramatic' is just weird - that kind of raw emotion is what's called for in his style of singing. One might not like it (as Claire says she doesn't) but one cannot fault him for it unless he comes off as insincere.

One of NYC's revival houses, Film Forum, every so often does a big marathon of Warner Brothers pre-code films, and when you see a lot of Wellman's films of that era at once, you really come to appreciate him - his films are so tough, compassionate and there is a kind of poetry to how efficiently he was able to get…

Westward the Women is really a pretty damn good movie - much better than the vastly overrated westerns of Howard Hawks and I'd throw in the majority (but not all) of John Ford's westerns too.

Here are my THEORIES  to possibly explain what has been going on with the voting:

People just are so determined to blindly hate this show at this point, they are unable to recognize a great episode when they see one and are having more fun in piling onto it than actually watching whats on the screen.

Good observation about Jessica being perfect for Miss Saigon.

My 2 sents:
