I've heard that there are actually a couple of those floating about, with slightly different chronologies of events (i.e. some chapters in different orders).

Did that actually happen on Passions?
I would definitely watch a soap opera where characters did marry aliens or get captured by mole people.
As a child, I never realized how eccentric my parent's taste in music was. I just thought that was what grown-ups listened to.
I listened to the Heavy Metal soundtrack over and over with the huge headphones on, looking at the pictures inside the LP jacket, making up my own stories to fit the pictures and songs - all long before I actually saw the movie.
I still love listening to the Flash Gordon soundtrack, just for the reminders of the most awesome parts of the movie:
My favourite Hughes movie is hands-down, by a huge margin, Nate and Hayes.
Actually, I think it's called "Meow meow meow Meow-meow".
Around these here parts, Hair Metal never died, and can be heard in wild abundance daily on our "classic" rock stations.
And by "vacation", he means a seven day whiskey bender in a Motel Six near the airport.
I think it's high time the Academy realizes that the perfect Oscar host is right in front of them, and it's time for him to put on a leather vest, tie his hair in a ponytail, and host them Oscars like a motherfucker.
My friends were pretty convinced that Gutter and the guy on the couch were both based on me.
The whole bit with the corpulent sorcerer using his hand as a hydra-like monster was really well done, and the effects were excellent. I kept thinking "this would be pretty awesome if it were in a better movie".
Is the Marvel Comicstore amazingly shitty, or am I doing something wrong?
I forgot my password to access the credit card approval application at work, and when I tried to reset it, it asked me "What is your favourite food?"
Oh, I definitely agree that some (possibly even most) of the stories should revolve around the companions. Their own personal growth while traveling with the Doctor (such as with Ace, Leela, even Romana) should provide the overarcing theme of their journey.
I'd be perfectly fine without an over-arcing storyline tracking through an entire season. Especially one that doesn't somehow end up tying into Christmas.
One odd thing I found with the comedy show was that the theater-in-the-round set up to the stage was kinda weird, and didn't do the filming process any favours.
I like the theory, and it coalesces a lot of half-formed concepts I've had too. The only problem is one that you've noted - they already did it with Rory.
I didn't realize that we weren't supposed to think they were clones from the start.
