"The 'ell's goin' on!!"
"The 'ell's goin' on!!"
Can everyone please stop saying Hawaii?
Agree. Too bad no one was watching by that point because, by the end, I felt the show had done enough to earn another season.
There are two that I've come across. The one I was referring to earlier is a standard instructional video where he talks and then plays stuff with a couple other dudes on the set. There's another video of a Q&A session from a drum clinic. That one is really great if you just want to hear a seasoned pro talk about…
Actually, it's spelled "Purdie," so HA!!
I agree that that ruling is somewhat debatable. However, I'm not sure what you mean by "do slight changes to the notation." If the changes are so slight as to not materially affect the music, then you're still infringing. Or, if you make a change that seems significant on paper but actually isn't, such as changing…
Exhibit A: The "Fool In The Rain" shuffle.
Yes. Also one of the most respected session players of all time.
Not too far from the truth. From Wikipedia:
Fun fact: Jim Gordon, the drummer who played on "Apache," went insane, killed his mother with a hammer, and is languishing in prison to this very day.
Tell that to Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke.
Right around the time…she retold the Santa Claus story…in a halting…disjointed…manner…because she wanted to make sure we knew…just how CRAZY the incident was…in case we didn't pick up on that fact…the first time she told the story…was when I realized…she isn't the comedian for me…but I suppose…without the slow…
Reaching an especially clear level is no easy task though.
Agree. The Master was challenging, but still engrossing. Same goes for TWBB. Inherent Vice just seemed sloppy and gave me no reason to feel invested in the characters.
Recently, I watched about two-thirds of Inherent Vice before turning it off. I have no plans to watch the remainder and I feel perfectly at peace with this course of action.
i can relate to you on that one actually
Joking, of course. I'm curious to know which one you would consider B list :)
are you enjoying being arguably the AVC's most hated commenter?
oh, i get it. it's because the word "hero" is specific to males, right?
I just want to say that I'm thrilled to see Jeff Porcaro's name mentioned here.
